Review: SS-GB

SS-GBSS-GB by Len Deighton
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I first read this book (in hard copy) many many years ago, and was fascinated by the possibilities that were explored by Deighton simply on the basis of one switch in history. It was a joy to read it again and rediscover the text.

I credit this particular book for my interest in ‘alternate history’ fiction, such as the works of Harry Turtledove which I’ve just finished reading, and other similar authors who dared to ask ‘what if…’ and reimagine the world because of it.
