In August 2013 I took part of my annual leave in Tasmania, and there was much to photograph.
No visit to Tasmania would be complete without a visit to Port Arthur. This was my first visit since the infamous and barbaric act that took place there, and it was all the more poignant for that.
This farm is a cane farm not too distant from Ballina, NSW which my mother’s parents worked throughout their lives. The farm has many happy memories for me.
This is the church building I have been privileged to serve in – and which is wonderful to photograph.
The Richmond River runs through my hometown of Casino. During my recent visit home, I paid a visit in the late afternoon.
A pre-Christmas cruise on the lake provided the opportunity for some photos.
Located just outside Forster, the Green Cathedral is used regularly for weddings and other religious ceremonies.
A local sight that begged to visited…and photographed.
This is the church in my hometown, a church that has seen many of the major sacramental celebrations of my life. I was asked to take these photos for another purpose, but couldn’t resist sharing them as well.
This year I visited my sister in Townsville during my holidays, and there were some interesting things to photograph.
